Mike Wellborn
President, PE, CFM
Mike founded Wellborn Engineering & Surveying in 2011 after serving as City Engineer for Cedar Hill and Director of Engineering for the City of Kerrville. With 27 years of civil engineering experience, he stays personally involved in every project the firm takes on. Mike holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Jared Martin
Land Surveying Lead, RPLS
Jared coordinates all survey field work at Wellborn, from boundary and title surveys to ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, and topographic mapping. He's an expert in Civil 3D and a range of surveying and GIS software, and holds a degree in Digital Information Mapping from Texas A&M University.
Connor Odom
PE
Connor works in Wellborn's civil engineering department, with expertise in site design, stormwater pollution prevention planning, and TCEQ wastewater permitting. He's helped design plans for residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects across the Hill Country, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas.
Cameron Carter
PE, CFM
Cameron brings both engineering and field survey experience to Wellborn, specializing in drainage design, detention structures, grading, and sustainable site solutions like BMPs and LID. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he's proficient in Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and QGIS.
Daniel Kovacich
Geotechnical Engineering Lead, PE
Daniel leads Wellborn's Geotechnical Engineering and Materials Testing department, specializing in expansive soils, deep foundation systems, and slope stability across industrial, commercial, and residential projects. He holds a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
